Try this Egg Burger recipe at your home

Serving 1

Cooking time- 10 mins


  • 1 Eggoz egg                                             
  • 1 pack Burger bun
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise                                  
  • 2-3 Onion slices                                           
  • 2-3 Tomato slices                                        

For Veggie patty

  • 2   boiled potatoes                                    
  • ¼ cups onions ( chopped)                                 
  • 1 tsp green chilli (chopped)                            
  • 1 tbsp Spice mix (grounded spices)                                       
  • Salt and black pepper (as per taste)
  • 1 tbsp parsley ( chopped)                                  
  • Oil


  • Take a bowl and add the boiled potatoes. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to mash the potatoes evenly.
  • Make sure to check for any leftover large lumps before you move on to the next step.
  • Next, add all your favourite veggies (optional) like green peas, sweet corn, onions, carrot, ginger, garlic, and green chilli that bring colour and spice to your egg burgers.
  • Use a large spoon to evenly distribute all the ingredients evenly.
  • Next, add ground spices, salt, pepper, parsley, to the prepared mashed potatoes.
  • Mix it well and allow it to rest.
  • After putting some oil on your palms and fingers, take a small pellet of filling
  • Shape them into a small patty and continue with the rest of the mixture.
  • Heat a wok with oil in it, and deep fry the patties 
  • When the patties are cooked, transfer them to a plate and keep it aside

Fried Eggs

  • Apply butter or cooking spray to a nonstick pan. 
  • Heat the pan over medium. Make sure your pan is oiled well, this will let the eggs easily slide off. 
  • Crack your eggs on top of the pan and enjoy the initial sizzling 
  • Let the eggs cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the white is set and the corners start to gently curl. 
  • Simply slip the eggs onto a dish and season for sunny side up eggs 
  • If you like your eggs cooked completely, flip it over and let it cook for another minute or two. 

 Making of burger

  • Add equal parts of mayonnaise and ketchup into a bowl and mix thoroughly to create a dip.
  • Take one side of the grilled bun and using a knife spread a thin layer of the sauce.
  • Layer your favourite vegetables according to choice. We used  onions, and tomatoes!
  • Add the grilled patty on top and another layer of the dip we prepared earlier.
  • Carefully place the poached egg on top but don’t break into it yet.  You can use a flat spatula to make it easier.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the egg and some parsley
  • Add the next Serve and enjoy your burger with drink of your choice and French fries
